Hello,
I hope your summers are all going well! School is about to start and we wanted to give you some info about this upcoming fall semester for the TSMS Band program.
We are not having a summer camp this year. Students will receive their band locker the first day of school, they should bring a lock. We will be sending home the paperwork that will need to be signed for this school year (handbook form, travel form, and KISD extra curricular form). They will need to be returned the first week of school.
I am attaching (click here) the “how to” worksheet for our communication database. Please look it over and update any info that might have changed to help facilitate communication with you throughout the year.
There is a book that we use throughout middle school band it is called, Foundations for Superior Performance it can be found at all of the local music stores as well as online. Please ensure that it is for your child’s specific instrument!
We can’t wait to get back and start working with your wonderful children!!!!!! Please let us know if you have any questions.
